I'm cool with Jesus 

But about God, I'm not sure 

They say that God is good 

But I have questions 

If God is good

Then why do the innocent suffer?

If God is good

Then why do the wicked prosper?

If God is good 

Then why did They create us 

then take a backseat 

basically just chill and split the scene?

People say we have freewill 

but that answer doesn't cut it for me 

If God is good 

Why do evil, injustice, and oppression reign?

Why does good seem to be done in vain?

They say don't be like Job

Don't question God

but I believe Job was just a story 

an allegory 

and I'm not afraid to say the things I think 

If God is good 

Why is it that in the ocean waves we sink?

I May Not Have My Shit All Together

but compared to him as a person, I'm better 

Caring for others, he has never 

He just says "whatever"

The storms he creates

We have to weather

Neighbor, sister, brother 

Burdens aren't meant to be beared alone

My heart isn't made of stone

He creates chaos 

I won't have it

I care for the ones who pay the cost

the storm-tossed, the lost
