Most immigrants 

Come looking for a better life to live 

My grandmother was one of them 

They don't come with ill intent

Just somewhere safe and good for them 

and their kids 

Knock off all your xenophobic bullshit 

You don't get to criticize 

You don't get to demonize 

Without them this country 

wouldn't be what it is 

Go run your mouth somewhere else 

because I won't tolerate it 

You say don't take it personally 

That it's just politics 

But I can't not take it personally 

Immigrants are my friends and relatives 

and they matter to me
